Indian Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has announced the reopening of online applications for Technician Recruitment 2024. Candidates who are interested in joining RRB zones such as Prayagraj, Gorakhpur, Ajmer, Kolkata, Mumbai, Secunderabad, Chennai, and other regions can now apply online. The application window will be open from October 2, 2024, to October 16, 2024.

After appearing in the Stage I Computer-Based Test (CBT), candidates are eligible for a partial refund of the application fee:
General / OBC / EWS Candidates: ₹400/- will be refunded.
SC / ST / PH / Female Candidates: ₹250/- will be refunded.

Age Limit for RRB Technician Recruitment 2024
Minimum Age: 18 years
Maximum Age for Technician Grade III: 33 years

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Science with one of the following specializations:
Physics
Electronics
Computer Science
Information Technology
Instrumentation
Alternatively, a B.Sc. in a combination of any of these fields or a BE/B.Tech degree or a 3-year Polytechnic Engineering Diploma in any of the specified disciplines is also acceptable.
2. Technician Grade III (Open Line)

Applicants must have completed Class 10th along with an ITI certificate from either NCVT (National Council for Vocational Training) or SCVT (State Council for Vocational Training) in the relevant trade or branch.
3. Technician Grade III (Workshop & Production Units)
